Russian Language is spoken by more than 200 million people in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, and other countries. Unfortunately the majority of this vast population is monolingual.
Being able to speak Russian can significantly improve the quality of life and business for those who visit Russia. Breaking down "Russian communication barrier" opens a lot of doors.
Even though learning foreign languages is very popular in Russia these days, and language barriers are getting thinner, if you are thinking of getting education or starting your own business in Russia, you should seriously consider learning Russian.
Russian language is unique. Unlike other European languages, Russian has a Cyrillic (or Slavic) alphabet and a very complex grammar and phonetic system.
Russian is not easy to learn and will require major time and effort investment on your part. But it is very rewarding to actually be able to read Tolstoi and Dostoevski!
Solid knowledge of Russian will also bring you many social and business connections, that make life in Russia easier.
Our general Russian language course is aimed at teaching you conversational Russian for day-to-day communication. You’ll be able to socialize, read books and newspapers in Russian, watch TV and follow Russian pop culture.
We offer 5 levels of General Russian language courses both for children and adults according to their language proficiency:
Russian for Beginners, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate and Advanced.
To roughly estimate your level you can take an on-line test in Russian; later, in our office you may have an interview. After thorough testing, you’ll be placed in a group of your proficiency level.
Every level incorporates use of learning materials (including audio and video), designed by the best Russian methodologists and implemented by our experienced teachers. These materials were designed to address specific educational needs of each proficiency group.
An advanced level program involves reading original Russian literature, newspapers and magazines. What an accomplishment!
Our expert teachers recommend to study Russian in small groups of 2 or 3.
Small group environment opens space to a more personalized approach and a chance to practice conversational skills in a small group, helping you to overcome communication fears.
Should you prefer to study 1:1, we’ll provide you with a customized program tailored to your own skills and a schedule to meet your personal needs.
Keep in mind that 1:1 model has pros and cons. The teacher's attention may only be on you but you are missing on many educational and motivational benefits of classroom environment.
We want you to know that every time we tailor a program for our students we take their wishes, needs and abilities into consideration.
A special note to parents. Our language courses for children are very innovative and kid friendly. We practice the "natural approach", involving a lot of fun activities and games into the classroom, targeting a unique learning process of a young mind and making children feel comfortable, safe and motivated. Please don't hesitate to contact us if your child has special educational needs. We are here to help you.
Corporate classes are held on the premises, allowing you to schedule the time of your staff more efficiently.
If you do not have enough time for a comprehensive Russian language course, but need to get the most out of a short period of time, welcome to our intensive course, which takes from 80 to 240 hours or about 2 to 6 months to accomplish.
